After some rumors earlier this year about Diablo III coming to the Nintendo Switch, Diablo III: Eternal Collection was leaked in an article by Forbes ahead of its announcement expected for August 16. [Thanks, Resetera.] The article in question has now been removed, but we got a glimpse of what’s to come with a Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armor wh ich you can see in the above image. Also revealed as a Tri-Force portrait frame, Chicken pet, and Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings. The Nintendo Switch version of Diablo III will allow you to play in different ways, docked or on-the-go:
- Up to 4 players can play together on a single Switch.
- Up to 4 players can play on 4 different Switch units wirelessly without an internet connection.
- Players can also team up online with the Nintendo Switch Online service (which launches in September.)
Furthermore, the game will offer cloud saving support. Diablo III: Eternal Collection is expected to launch in 2018 for Nintendo Switch, priced at $59.99. The collection is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
