Back when the Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~ Kickstarter appeared back in December 2016, a $200,000 stretch goal was set and met that would result in a digital PlayStation Vita release. While the PC version of the game appeared in 2017, not much was said about the handheld port. Now, a Kickstarter update has confirmed that it is still in development and will eventually be released.
This Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~ PlayStation Vita version update begins with an apology for taking so long to talk more about the handheld release. It then confirms that work is still being done on the visual novel and discussions are being had with both the Sony Interactive Entertainment America and Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe branches. It also claims there will be a Dies irae announcement “soon.”
Here is the full statement about the PlayStation Vita port.
