Bandai Namco shared a new trailer for Digimon Survive that focuses on its story and characters. The video provides a glimpse at Digimon that will appear in the game alongside their partners too.
Other elements came up as well. It showcased how story segments will play out, which will proceed like those in visual novels. Combat came up too. This included a look at the “Skill Point” system, which can be used to Digivolve your Digimon. Several in-battle skills appeared in the trailer, such as the ability to heal allied Digimon.

Digimon Survive is a story-focused, turn-based strategy game. Player’s choices will play an important role in how Augumon will Digivolve, with decisions sometimes appearing during conversations between characters. The game will have two gameplay systems. One will allow players to interact with other characters, while the other will be more “survival” focused. Players will also be able to discover hidden Digimon through the use their in-game camera. Taking pictures of suspicious spots can reveal hidden Digimon or reward players with items.
Digimon Survive will release for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on July 28, 2022.
