Dischan Media Releases All Its Visual Novels For Free

Visual novel studio Dischan Media ended up shutting down in July 2015 after six years in production. Now, several months later, the studio has released all its visual novels for free. You can find downloads here.

Unfortunately, there are only three visual novels by Dischan Media to download, and two of them are unfinished.

The first is Cradle Song, which was Dischan’s first project since 2009, and saw an alpha demo released back in 2011. It follows Nathan Finch, a high school student with supernatural abilities who dreams about a hellish future while unknowingly trapped inside a virtual simulation.

Second up is Juniper’s Knot, which is the one project that Dischan Media saw to completion – it’s a short kinetic visual novel made in about a month. “Juniper’s Knot is a story told from dual perspectives: that of a demon and a boy,” reads the description. “It begins on an autumn morning in a silent town.”

Third and finally is Dysfuctional Systems, which was to be a series of visual novels that followed Winter Harrison, a student mediator from a utopian world. The series was cancelled but some work was done on the first episode, and it’s that you can download and play. “The first entry in the series follows her second mediation, where she shadows the experienced and aloof mediator: Cyrus Addington,” reads the description.
