Disgaea 6 Auto Battle

Disgaea 6 Will Have an Auto Battle Function and Other Quality of Life Features

New features will be coming to Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, one of these being an auto-battle function. However, that isn’t the only thing Disgaea 6 will have to offer. Alongside the auto-battle function, there will be a handful of new and returning features. Returning features include the Dark Assembly and the seemingly endless Item Worlds. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

To elaborate on the auto-battle function in Disgaea 6, it isn’t your run of the mill auto function. Players will be able to assign characters attacks and other skills characters will use in auto-battle. This means that you won’t need to worry about your party potentially failing missions while you busy yourself elsewhere.

Additionally, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will have a 2x speed mode that does exactly what you can probably imagine, and that is speed up combat. Another feature is the “play again” function that will allow players to clear the same selected stage multiple times in a row. The “play again” and auto-battle function will come in handy when grinding to the new 99,999,999 level cap in Disgaea 6. Other ease of access features include base shortcuts.

The latest information shared through Famitsu also revealed two new classes, the Psychic and the Armored Valkyrie. The Psychic is adept at using cane and gun-type weapons, while the Armored Valkyrie is great at dealing with large groups of enemies. You can check out the artwork of both of these new classes below.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021, and Summer 2021 for the West.
