DoDonPachi Resurrection’s Steam Debut Is Two Weeks Away

Cave has announced the Steam launch date for the Windows PC version of DoDonPachi Resurrection. On October 14, 2016, the shoot’em up will come to the digital distributor.

In DoDonPachi Resurrection it’s up to players to head back in time to stop an Next EXY, an android, and the Elemental Daughters in an attempt to preserve the past and protect the future. This version of the game offers three ships, three styles, eight different modes, and two player local co-op. It also has a Hyper Counter system, that lets you cancel bullets when the hyper counter gauge is full, and a Counter Laser System, where the hyper counter system lets the laser block weak and strong lasers.

Steam-related DoDonPachi Resurrection features have been confirmed. It will support Steam Achievements, as well as cloud saves and leaderboards. You can also earn Steam Trading Cards as you play.

DoDonPachi Resurrection originally appeared in arcades back in 2008. Versions of the game are also available on the Xbox 360, Apple iOS devices, and Android devices.
