Dohalim Tops Tales of Popularity Poll 2021

Tales of popularity poll 2021

Bandai Namco has released the results of its 2021 Tales of popularity poll. Voting ran from October 25 to November 7, 2021. While we could see the bottom rung of the polls from November 15, Bandai Namco revealed the top ten during the Tales of Festival 2021 event. [Thanks, Abyssal Chronicles!]

Due to their popularity, you cannot vote for Yuri from Tales of Vesperia or Leon from Tales of Destiny. They have appeared in the top three multiple times in the past and are in the “hall of fame” now. The top ten most popular characters in the Tales of series poll are:

  1. Dohalim (Tales of Arise)
  2. Mikleo (Tales of Zestiria)
  3. Alphen (Tales of Arise)
  4. Luke (Tales of the Abyss)
  5. Ludger (Tales of Xillia 2)
  6. Asbel (Tales of Graces)
  7. Sorey (Tales of Zestiria)
  8. Raven (Tales of Vesperia)
  9. Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia)
  10. Zelos (Tales of Symphonia)

While female characters start showing up a little bit later down the list (Shionne is #11 while Rose is #13), it seems that the male characters from the Tales of series are much more popular with the fans. Dohalim’s popularity has ousted Mikleo, despite him appearing in first place in previous polls.

Aside from the most popular characters, you could also vote for your favorite mascot character, the character you would most want to organize a winter party with, and the character you want to cook with while camping. The top results of these categories will appear on the second day of the Tales of Festival, which is November 21, 2021. You can keep up with the 2021 Tales of popularity poll from the official website.

The latest entry in the Tales of series, Tales of Arise, is readily available worldwide on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Recently, it announced that it sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide.
