Japanese indie studio EasyGameStation has teamed up with publisher Rockin’ Android to bring its 2008 action-platformer Tokkyu Tenshi to Steam under the English title Angel Express. You can vote for it on Steam Greenlight.
In Angel Express, you play a girl called Rapid who has to deliver the mail as quickly as possible – she can jump on enemies’ heads, double jump, and boost run. The result is a 2.5D platformer in which you have to avoid obstacles and monsters, and sometimes race against rival messengers.
As well as a Story mode, Angel Express has a multiplayer mode in which up to four players compete to get the most points by defeating monsters and reaching the finish line first. The game also has a level editor.
“Rockin’ Android has been discussing new additions to Angel Express with EGS, and with your help, we look forward to making the Steam release the definitive version of Angel Express,” Rockin’ Android said.
