In Dragon Quest Builders you start out with an Empty Island and you’ll get to help build it to your liking. This week’s issue of Jump magazine gives us a little recap on how you’ll do just that.
In Dragon Quest Builders 2 you can invite people you meet in other places to come back to Empty Island and help build it from the ground up. The people arrive from other islands once you help them solve some problems. Once they join you can form a party and explore the island together.
Building has also been improved with furniture placements, cooking ingredient combinations, and more. When cooking, you can toss several ingredients into the pot to cook up something different. Some furniture changes its shape when placed next to each other.
You’ll also get to change the color of your creations, or make aquariums using window glass.
