Square Enix announced today that Dragon Quest Heroes II, the sequel of the Omega Force-developed hack-and-slash game will also be getting a PC release via Steam on April 25, 2017.

After a thousand years of peace, the Seven Realms suddenly collapse into conflict as if guided by a mysterious and malicious force. Now, you must lead a band of powerful heroes in a quest to defeat evil and save the war-torn world!
In addition to the standard version of the game, the āExplorerās Editionā will feature 15 exclusive DLC to assist in the fight against swarms of enemies and to return peace to the world. It features weapons designed from enemies in the game, including the Slime Knightās Shield, Great Sabreclaws, Golem Gauntlets, and more. A reversible cover artwork for the Adventure Log is also a part of this edition.
Dragon Quest Heroes IIās Day One Explorerās Edition will go for $59.99 and is currently available for pre-order on the Square Enix Online Store. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will get the following items:
- Exclusive PlayStationĀ®4 computer entertainment system theme
- Dragon Quest I Hero Costume
- Special āHealix the Heroā recipe for Dragon Quest Builders ā this in-game content will allow Dragon Quest Builders players to build a statue of one of the franchise favorite characters, Healix from Dragon Quest Heroes II.

Dragon Quest Heroes II releases for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on April 25, 2017. The game releases in Europe on April 28 for PlayStation 4.
