Square Enix has continued to improve Dragon Quest VIII over the past few months auto-saving was tweaked, a quick save feature was enhanced, and battle tempo was adjusted. The game costs 2,800 yen, but right now it has only been released on the Japanese app stores.

More Dragon Quest games will be ported for smartphones since Square Enix plans on bringing the first eight titles in the series to mobile.
