Square Enix is releasing Dragon Quest X’s next expansion, The 5,000 Year Journey to the Distant Homeland Online, this fall, and we got its first bit of new info in this week’s issue of Jump magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

With the new expansion titled The 5,000 Year Journey to the Distant Homeland Online, the story will take players to the past world. It features two key characters, including the knight in black (who kind of looks like an evil version of Dragon Quest XI protagonist) as well as a mysterious fairy named “Kyururu” who lends his powers to the hero.

As for the new job, it’s the Druid job that was last available in Dragon Quest VII. The job is said to be a specialist at hitting numerous enemies at once, and is characterized by the ability to freely control the power of nature.

Dragon Quest X’s new expansion launches in Japan on November 16, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Wii U, and PC. Check out its announcement trailer in our previous report.
