Dragon’s Dogma has three basic classes fighter, mage, and strider. Players can combine these to create advanced jobs which share characteristics from two base jobs.
Take the assassin, a hybrid of a fighter and strider, as an example. This class sacrifices defense for mobility and attack power. Assassins are surprise attack masters and get a performance boost at night.
Magic archers are what you get when you combine a strider and a mage. This class’ special skill is enchanting arrows with magic.
Mystique Knights are, according to Capcom, essential for every party. They can enchant the party with support spells and strike enemies with fire, lightning, and water elemental attacks.
Dragon’s Dogma is slated for release early next year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Is there something you’re dying to know about the game? Submit your questions for Hiroyuki Kobayashi, producer, here.
