Last month, Koei Tecmo announced that Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires would be released in North America and Europe this January. At the time, it appears that Koei’s European division also stated that the game would feature voice-over work in both English and Japanese.
This is not the case any more, Koei posted on their Facebook page. “Our studios have just confirmed that the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires will feature Japanese voice and English subtitles only,” the publisher wrote. “We are very sorry to say that it will not include English voice, as previously communicated.”
Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will be released on January 27th in North America and January 30th in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation 3 (as a downloadable title).
