Dynasty Warriors 9 Screenshots For Xu Sheng, Zhenji, And Others, State Combo System Details

Koei Tecmo shared the latest on Dynasty Warriors 9 with new screenshots for Xu Sheng, Zhenji and other recently revealed characters, as well as State Combo System and Interactive Action details.   Xu Sheng (CV: Tarusuke Shingaki)   Zhenji (CV: Yuko Sumitomo)   Cao Pi (CV: Nobutoshi Canna)   Xingcai (CV: Junko Noda)   Zhang Bao (CV: Daisuke Sakaguchi)   Wang Yuanji (CV: Kanae Ito)   Sima Zhao (CV: Daisuke Kishio)   Dynasty Warriors 9 offers more to explore with an open-world map, but it also adds more to the action with some new elements added to the familiar hack ‘n’ slash battles.   As previously detailed, the “State Combo System” is a new system that lets you pull off a variety of actions. The “Flow Attack” varies depending on the enemy state, “React Attack” puts you in an advantageous situation, and the “Trigger attack” is used to start off a combo.   Here’s a look at what you can do with the State Combo System actions:   Flow Attack (Circle)     An attack that changes based on the enemy’s state. You’ll see a different Flow Attack based on whether the enemy is in a normal state, in mid-air, downed, and so on. This allows you to pull off swift multi-hit attacks to deal massive damage.   React Attack (Triangle) The React Attack changes depending on the player and enemy state and timing. These attacks put the player in an advantageous situation.   Here’s a list of React Attacks:

• Counter Attack: Reacts when an enemy is about to attack.
• Separating Attack: Knocks back close enemies.
• Dash Attack: Instantly closes the gap with a faraway enemy.
• Knockdown Attack: Knocks mid-air enemies down to the ground.
• Guard Break Attack: Used to break the guard of guarding enemies.
• Sneak Attack: Hits an unsuspecting enemy with massive damage.
• Finish Attack: Can one-shot kill an enemy after they’ve taken enough damage.

  Trigger Attack Trigger Attack is used to change the enemy state and start a combo with a follow-up Flow Attack.

• R1 + Square: Temporarily staggers the enemy.
• R1 + Triangle: Hits the enemy into the air.
• R1 + X: Puts the enemy in a downed state.

  Special Attack (R1 + Circle) Each warlord has their own unique powerful special attack.   Interactive Action While exploring Dynasty Warriors 9’s massive open-world, you’ll come across different objects, rivers, and topographies that allow for various actions.   For example, you can use a grappling hook to climb a wall,   Swim across a wide river.   Blow up a bottle of oil using fire arrows.   Get some extra air with wall jumps.   Or simply enjoy some fishing.   ynasty Warriors 9 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the West.
