We have a new game system on the way in the form of the PlayStation Vita. That can only mean one thing — that’s right, a Warriors game reporting for duty! Koei are developing Dynasty Warriors for the PSVita, and naturally, have some Vita-specific features in mind for the game.

One of these is a new “God Speed Musou” attack that you can let loose by via the touchscreen by touching and directly sliding it onto enemies. Another one, a support attack called “Direct Break” can be used by touching any enemy or area on the screen.

You’ll also be able to direct subordinates using the touchscreen. One screenshot shows what looks like a boss duel where you get into a weapon lock, and need to win by touching multiple points on the screen. Dynasty Warriors on the NGP will also use the rear touch panel and the gyroscope.

Tecmo Koei haven’t announced a release date for Dynasty Warriors yet.
