Koei Tecmo recently announced Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden, an upcoming strategy RPG for PlayStation 4. We got a few more details on the game in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]

In Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden, the player will take on the role of Zhao Yun as part of a brand new story, which takes place in a parallel world based on the world we’ve seen so far in the series.

As fro gameplay, it’s a strategy RPG where you’ll move your units on a square grid map. There’s also a characteristic system where Zhao Yun and the other generals will use a special power called “Resonance” that basically allows you to continuously move commanders to wipe out a bunch of enemies.

Other than the scenario battles, you’ll get to try out the Free Battle mode as often as you’d like. We previously detailed that attacking enemies will result in a Musou-style action scene, but these can be skipped as well.

Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden will release in Japan in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
