Earth Defense 3 Portable Goes Gold… With Gigantic Gold Ants

D3 Publisher is adding quite a bit of content into Earth Defense Force 3 Portable. The PlayStation Vita port of Earth Defense Force 2017 has a new mission called the Darkness of Gold where you have to shoot gold plated ants that spit acid at you.

Another new mission has players take out alien gunships, most likely piloted by some kind of super ant.

Earth Defense Force 3 Portable has a bunch of new tools to take down these threats. The Palewing defender from Earth Defense Force 2 is in the game plus there are a new class of assist weapons. One player can gear up with health restoring guns and a nanomachine shield ray.

The game comes for PlayStation Vita out in Japan on September 27.
