Kadokawa Games delayed Earth Seeker many times, but it’s ready to come out now. In fact, they have a video of Craft & Meister’s first game, which is almost all live gameplay. Voice actress Hisako Kanemoto sat down to play the Wii role playing game starting with the "Mysterious Treasure" quest.

Those weather effects add a nice touch to the ruined planet "Earth." Why the quotes? Earth Seeker doesn’t take place on our Earth, the game begins after humans fled the planet in spaceships. One of them crashed and terraformed a planet to become Earth-like, but the damaged craft created monsters like an insect mixed with a railgun. On the planet, you travel with Guardians, natives who will help you in battle if you give them some booze.

Enemies roam the field freely and combat is almost entirely in real-time. Players can pause the action using what Craft & Meister calls the "Time Stop Battle" system to freeze the action and input commands.

Earth Seeker will be available for Wii on June 23 in Japan. The game has not been announced for North America to date. However, Kadokawa Games appears to have plans for Western expansion since they filed a trademark for Rodea the Sky Soldier even before the game was announced in Japan.
