The Hopping Dead casts players as a Wizard Exorcist, besieged on all sides by Jiangshi and other Asian monsters from folklore and myth in this VR arcade action game.

The monsters of The Hopping Dead are not affected by guns or fire, and must be attacked with magical spells or banishing talismans at a distance, or your exorcising swords when they get into melee range.

The Hopping Dead appears to take itself seriously as it immerses players into a world of VR demons and monsters, but some of its voice acting hints at a House of the Dead-like sense of humor and B-movie-like feel.

The Hopping Dead is raising votes on Steam Greenlight, but does not indicate a release date at this time.
