The Elder Scrolls: Blades Brings Classic Elder Scrolls Action To Mobiles, And More

TES blades 2

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a new free-to-play game that’s coming to mobile, PC, consoles and more. It retains the single player Elder Scrolls games’ first-person adventuring and combat, but with procedurally generated dungeons that harken back to The Elder Scrolls: Arena.

Battling will follow players’ swiping movements, and there will be character customization in the game. The entire game is also fully playable in portrait mode, for your office slacking needs.

There will be three modes in the game, Abyss, Arena, and Town. Abyss is an endless dungeon to see how far your adventurer can get. Arena is a 1v1 player versus mode, and finally Town brings you into a town building mode.

In the story, you are a member of the Blades, who has been forced into exile. You return to find the town destroyed, and you must rebuild it. Rebuilding the town unlocks new NPCs, quests, and decorations, and you can visit friends’ towns as well.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is coming to phones first, but is planned for PC, consoles and even VR as well. Bethesda mentioned that they want all versions of the game to connect to each other. It comes out Fall 2018 for free, and pre-orders start tonight on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. You can also pre-register at
