An official, English Attack on Titan mobile game is in development. Funimation, GameSamba, and NGames will be working with Kodansha on an Apple iOS and Android devices.

The exact genre of the forthcoming Attack on Titan game is unknown and screenshots aren’t yet available, but NGames and GameSamba describe it as being similar to both action and runner games. The overall goal will be to defeat titans as they go through various environments based on the series. “Deeper, persistent elements” were also teased for the release.

GameSamba, NGames, and Funimation’s Attack on Titan game will be released in 2016 in major English markets. It will be the third mobile game from the three when it does, as both Fairy Tail and Tokyo Ghoul inspired games are also going to be coming to mobile devices worldwide from the companies, with Tokyo Ghoul in English and Fairy Tail in multiple languages.
