Enjoying All Of The Unlocks In Megadimension Neptunia VII’s New Game Plus

Recommended Videos

Going through Megadimension Neptunia VII can take quite a while. It’s a massive game with three storylines and three endings. It’s daunting. Fortunately, if you decide to go through the game again with a new game plus file, things will go much more swiftly.

When you start a new game plus file in Megadimension Neptunia VII, you’ll start over from the very beginning of Zero Dimension Neptunia Z. People who go through the game again get to take almost everything with them. You can keep levels, money, skills, weapons, items, scouts, scout level, and exe drive gauge levels. This is all optional, as you can decide who does or doesn’t carry over to a new game.  Unlocked dungeons don’t carry over though, which means people have a reason to go through everything again.

What’s even better is that the character lineup carries over to Megadimension Neptunia VII’s new game plus. You can have everyone with you from the start, with Lily ranks maintained. Seeing as how the cast is rather limited otherwise, it’s a great bonus that makes the first two storylines go faster.

Having every character with you isn’t another way the new game plus saves time. The skip function is invaluable too. Holding the trigger button lets you skip ahead of animations, battle ending screens, and event segments. If you’re going through a second runthrough to earn a different ending, You can also turn off random battles, turn up dungeon traveling speed, and turn on a higher jump.

Neplunker is much more inviting in Megadimension Neptunia VII’s new game plus. You get an item that doesn’t result in an immediate game over if you end up dying during a run. The Jumping Star flag helps make the dungeon runs easier, since you have higher jumps that result in better leaps. This means you’ll have a much easier time of getting the Hyper Booster reward, so you can get the Hyper Bracelet and destroy metal boxes. Just leave the increased movement speed flag off, because you don’t need that kind of pressure.

Normally, someone would need to spend around 20-30 hours on each of Megadimension Neptunia VII’s storylines. In a new game plus run, you could end up only spending 15 hours on the whole game. It could take even less time, if you skip everything you possibly can. It streamlines the experience for anyone wanting to see another ending.

Megadimension Neptunia VII is immediately available for the PlayStation 4.
