Epikos Harkens Back To 4 Bit, 16 Color RPGs

Epikos, an RPG that draws upon the color schemes and visuals of old RPGs like Ultima: The First Age of Darkness, has released on Itch.io.

Epikos touts several playable characters for your party, each with their own backstory, as well as multiple endings depending on player actions. Ancient tablets will also help players fill themselves in on the world’s lore and history.

Combat is designed to be resolved quickly through fast response times and animations, with each character having their own special abilities. These involve blood magic spells, which are fuelled by crystals left behind by defeated enemies.
