Escape Plan Before Sony Brought It To Vita (Plus Dark Fairytale Game Concept Art)

Escape Plan is slated for a digital release alongside PlayStation Vita’s launch, but the puzzle game was in development way before that. Details along with early concept art explain this original IP went under, but eventually found a home thanks to Fun Bits and Sony Computer Entertainment.

Early artwork for shows alternate names for the game’s playable characters (they’re now known as Lil and Laarg) and the original plan had many more chiaroscuro style characters. It appears Escape Plan, at one time, had animal partners or helpers like a sheep that gave hints and a flying cat.

The artist also shared concept art for a dark fairytale game with rabid Three Little Pigs and a menacing witch in a mirror.
