Eternal Covenant Brings Co-Op Castlevania-Inspired Action

The Blood Canticle, a haunting song that heralds an endless night, has been spreading its deadly notes across the land, and only a few brave Castle Hunters can hope to stop it in co-op sidescroller Eternal Covenant.

Eternal Covenant draws inspiration from Castlevania, sending players to gothic castles filled with skeleton archers, huge knights, and rotting beasts. Players will be able to outfit their Castle Hunter with various skills, as well as choose a class (magic attacker, close range, support) to suit their play style. They will also be able to equip their character with any of the sixty weapons hidden throughout the castles.

Eternal Covenant’s castles offer multiple routes to get to the bosses that rule them, having many secret items and hidden paths for curious players to find. Should this not provide enough secrets for them, the player can also create their own castle maps using the level editor, allowing them to hide their own paths and tools as they see fit.

Eternal Covenant is also looking to offer co-op, having two players attack the castle online. The game hints that there is a competitive aspect available as well, but does not say what that means.

Eternal Covenant is looking to release midway through this year, and is currently looking for votes on Steam Greenlight.
