Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 IMAX

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 to be Shown at IMAX Cinemas

IMAX announced that it will be showing Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time at select locations. Tickets are immediately available to pre-order, with the film scheduled to appear on November 30, 2022. People will need to enter their location on the website to see if tickets for Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will be available at their local IMAX theater. The film will only be shown for a single day.

In October 2022, Studio Khara announced it will release a special Evangelion 3.0+1.11 Blu-Ray and DVD set to Japanese audiences. This release will feature special bonus footage. Consumers will be able to get their hands on this set on March 8, 2023. There is no word of a potential international release.

Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997’s Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012 respectively.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time first appeared in North American cinemas in August 2021.
