Sound Shapes turns side-scrolling stages with simple graphics (think basic shapes and gray backgrounds) into songs and vice-versa. This PlayStation Vita game from Jonathan Mak, creator of Everyday Shooter, and I am Robot and Proud lets players design levels. When you collect items, you create the game’s soundtrack.
What’s neat about Sound Shapes is, you can make music first. Using the game’s built-in sequencer (C-major scale), you can plug in notes and Sound Shapes will output a level.
A clever take on “Play.Create.Share,” Sound Shapes was another one of the creative titles for PlayStation Vita.
