I feel like I’m repeating myself here, but in the world of Hero Bank, you gotta spend money to make money. The new video we’ve got shows off the item shop, where Kaito Gosho will be able to buy weapons, traps and more to use during his matchups.

The kicker here being you access this shop while the fight is going on. Sure, they’ll shank you for some crazy money like that crazy pricetag for an electric trap, but it’s money you’re going to have to spend if you want to walk away a winner.

This is key, because at the end of the day, Kaito Gosho is still a kid saddled with a one billion yen debt in real life that he’s going to have to pay off somehow. The only way he’s going to be able to repay it is by entering the electronic ring of Hero Bank, where people fight it out for the cheers and jeers of the online watchers.

Besides doing a clean knockout punch, players can also opt to pinfall their opponents. Beware doing this while their hit points are still decent though, as they’ll have enough strength to push you off. You’ll also need to extort exhort the crowd while fighting, which charges your money/popularity gauge and helps increase your earnings when you win.

Hero Bank is slated to arrive on March 20th for the Nintendo 3DS.
