We previously got a look at the protagonist Kujo Kanata from Spike Chunsoft and tri-Ace’s upcoming “side-view” RPG Exist Archive. The latest trailer introduces us to the heroine Ranze Miwakawa.

The video starts out with Ranze saying “oh no, it’s raining,” and Koharu Nagi says “it’s not raining, actually, it’s super sunny.” After Ranze dismisses it as just her own imagination, she recalls a moment from her childhood of Kujo telling her “cheer up, Ranze, it’ll be sunny tomorrow, I’ll make it sunny!”

Koharu hears Ranze laughing and freaks out a bit about the sudden laughter out of nowhere. Ranze then remembers Kujo apologizing about how he “wasn’t able to do it” and fondly looks back at their childhood moment.

Exist Archive will release in Japan on December 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
