The real treat for people who picked up the PlayStation 3 version of Echochrome is user created stages distributed over the PlayStation Network. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has a plan to roll out a collection of these over the next few weeks and these puzzles look fantastic.
Take a look at the stage above and the alternating hole/fan set up on the right hand side. This is going to be one brain bending level to complete. Unfortunately, people who purchased the PSP version will not be able to access the content since levels can only be transferred through ad hoc PSP to PSP communication.
In retrospect, I really should have purchased the PlayStation 3 version. It is significantly cheaper and easy access to new user generated levels. North American gamers get a better deal since both versions will only cost $9.99. If you haven’t tried Echochrome out yet a demo for the PlayStation 3 and PSP should be on the PlayStation store. Give it a whirl.
