Microsoft announced a new Fable game at their E3 2011 media presentation earlier today, titled Fable: The Journey. They emphasized the fact that the game is being built to fully support Kinect control.

During their live presentation on stage, Microsoft demonstrated examples of Kinect use like driving a horse carriage, and performing melee attacks by swinging your arms. Walking sections of the game appeared to be on-rails, but we can’t say for sure until Microsoft reveal more about the title.

Fable: The Journey is slated for release sometime in 2012. You can view a trailer for the game above.
