Oneechanbara Revolution is hardly a “revolution” from the Oneechanbara series. The upcoming Wii installment incorporates in an on-sight counter system, Devil May Cry style combo rankings and waggle control. Tamsoft polished the graphics too, which would have been fine if Oneechanbara R was a budget title. And it’s not. D3 Publisher is planning to sell Oneechanbara Revolution for 5,800 yen ($51), a steep price to pay to play as zombie Aya.

Before you decide to get it or not when it comes out on February 7, you have to see the trailer. Head over to the official Oneechanbara R page and pick the fourth option from the top. Most of the clip shows Aya and Saki always fighting in fenced areas. In the older Oneechanbara games spikes emerge from the ground trapping you and zombies. It looks like Oneechanbara R sticks to the same formula, which doesn’t give players lots of free space to run around in. The game is pretty much kill or be killed. While you’re watching Aya parade around in her bikini, listen to the music. “Sexy clothes I like to wear… don’t stop and stare.” Right!
