Final Fantasy Agito XIII Will Have A "Unique" Multiplayer System

Director Hajime Tabata gave Famitsu a small update on Final Fantasy Agito XIII. He says development is progressing smoothly and right now it’s intense, like a gun shooting.

Tabata also gave a vague comment about multiplayer gameplay in Final Fantasy Agito XIII. Don’t expect the kind of popular style of multiplayer where everyone gathers to play. "This title will have a unique multiplayer system," he told the magazine.

In other words, Tabata is saying Final Fantasy Agito XIII won’t be like Monster Hunter Freedom or their very own Lord of Arcana. But, if people aren’t huddling in a cafe connected through an ad-hoc connection, what kind of multiplayer system does Final Fantasy Agito XIII have?
