Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition and the neon blue box

Square-Enix usually deviates from the centered logo on a white background Japanese box art when it comes to the Final Fantasy series. This time they gave the packaging for the US version of Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition a chic look. They’ve got the warrior from the CG movie splattered on the front cover outlined in electric blue on black background, a significant change from a montage of the main cast seen in other Final Fantasy games. The warrior is everywhere on the packaging even the registration card. Square-Enix USA must have really loved Amano’s illustration.
