Final Fantasy XI Has A New Director Too

Both of Square Enix’s online Final Fantasy games are going through staff shuffling. Akihiko Matsui, ex-director of Final Fantasy XI, is now part of the core Final Fantasy XIV team as the lead game designer.

Mizuki Ito, director of the Abyssea add-ons, is now the director of Final Fantasy XI and its fantasy world Vana’diel. Yoji Fujito, creator of the chocobo raising system, will assist him as the game’s associate director.
