There have been previous instances of Final Fantasy XIV hosting these Free Login Campaign events. This is the longest Free Login Campaign, however, with the time totaling up to eight days of free game time. However, this campaign is only eligible for accounts that have not been accessed for over thirty days. So if you are looking to dive back into Final Fantasy XIV, now is your chance.

Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.2 patch recently added a new series of quests written by Yasumi Matsuno of Final Fantasy Tactics fame. This new content titled Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr, offers upgradable equipment for players via the Relic Weapon system.

However, regarding upcoming updates for Shadowbringers, patch 5.3 has been delayed. Producer, Naoki Yoshida broke the news via the official Lodestone website stating that this was due to complications regarding COVID-19. Despite this, the Final Fantasy XIV servers will still be maintained remotely so players don’t need to worry about that impacting their ability to access the game.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
