This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The Final Fantasy XIV team of Square Enix’s Third Development Division is always up to something for April Fools’ day, and this year we have a state-of-the-art smart home assistant known as Omega.     The 2018 April Fools’ from Final Fantasy XIV last year was a Pokémon GO spoof called Final Fantasy XIV Online GO that lets players harvest materials based on real-life locations.   2019-04-01_040424 In 2017 we had an April Fools’ video titled Tactics Alexander that was a pixel art mashup of the Tactics Ogre series and the Alxeander fight from Final Fantasy XIV. Its first April Fools’ video was the “ChocoGo” app in 2016, which was basically an uber with Chocobos.   Final Fantasy XIV is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
