The Japanese Square Enix e-Store started taking pre-orders for Final Fantasy XVI merchandise. The initial run includes a number of items both inspired by the different regions in the game and certain Eikons. For example, there are laser-engraved crystal displays showing Eikons. Clear files show different characters. There are also Final Fantasy XVI keychains and a long-sleeved shirt on the way. All items are set to debut in Japan on July 8, 2023. These aren’t showing up in the worldwide storefront yet, but such products often do after a brief delay. First, there are two kinds of laser-etched glass displays. Each one costs 4,950円 (~$36). One features Phoenix and Ifrit, who appear in the Yoshitaka Amano key art. The other features Shiva.

The long-sleeved Final Fantasy XVI shirt is based on Ifrit. It costs 5,500円 (~$40) and available in sizes medium, large, and XL. It is a cotton shirt that has Ifrit on the front and the words “fate is written in fire” on the right sleeve.
