Details for Fire Emblem Heroes’ Book 4 released today in the latest Feh Channel, and it includes new info on upcoming characters from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, a new mode titled Mjolnir’s Strike, and the opening movie of Book 4.
Mjolnir’s Strike
Mjolnir’s Strike lasts three phases, being the Brace, Shield, and Counter periods. During the Brace period, players will get to check out the upcoming attacking unit, and do practice runs against the upcoming enemy forces.
Players can choose up to four units, separated into four pairs. each pair has its own buffs, such as Spd+10, etc., but the red-colored pair have the ability to avoid all damage. The red pair will also be placed on the upper area of the defense map, and will be the first ones to take on the incoming enemies.
There are also various structures to be placed, with effects like the Muspell Pyre’s 20 damage to enemies within range. The objective is to survive 7 Turns without losing both of your Gateways.
Mythic Heroes will provide bonus score, and your score is also affected by the difficulty you choose to play.
Counter Arrows are used in the Counter phase in order to shoot the ballista’s cannons into other worlds. Each player will work together to combine fire against the enemy, and combos can be started as well.
Finally, the Rest phase allows you to obtain rewards, such as the new Divine Codes, which currently have a purpose not revealed yet. You get score for your Rank, but there’s also Askr Levels which are shared with all players.
Mjolnir’s Strike begins today with the Brace phase, and the Shield phase will begin on December 8 at 11pm reset time.
QOL Change – Skill changing
You can now change skills, skill sets, and learn skills just by going into the unit screen.
Book 4
The next book, Book 4, has Alfonse, Sharena, Anna, and the Order of Heroes enter Ljósálfheimr, the realm of dreams. (In Norse mythology, it’s also known as Alfheim, home of the Light Elves.) The major enemies are called Triandra and Plumeria, and are Dökkálfar (Dark Elves).
Book 4 begins on December 5 at 11pm PT.
Peony and Thracia 776 Summoning Event
A new Mythic Hero is joining Fire Emblem Heroes – Peony: Sweet Dream. She’s the heroine of Book 4, and comes from Ljósálfheimr. She’ll be available for free after beating Book 4 Chapter 1, but also is summonable on the upcoming banner alongside several Heroes from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776.
The original characters drawn for Book 4 are all designed by Yoshiku (Nights of Azure).
