Fire Emblem Three Houses DLC Brings Dark Flier, Trickster, Valkyrie, and War Cleric Classes Back (Update)

In the next Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC, people aren’t only getting four new playable students that could be recruited for their houses. They’ll also be getting new classes. Each class can be acquired after completing the Cindered Shadows add-on’s first chapter and acquiring an Underground Seal for a character. So far, the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Trickster class has been discussed and the Dark Flier, Valkyrie, and War Cleric were teased.

The first new class in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC to be highlighted on Twitter is the Trickster. This is a unit that excels in using swords, faith spells, and reason spells. Thieves can upgrade to this class. They also have a unique skill called Foul Play, which allows them to swap their position with an ally unit that is within five spaces of them. (Editor’s Note: This has been updated with the localized name of this skill.)

In addition, Anna gets a little something special from this Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC, due to her often being associated with the Trickster class. She gets a Tricky Merchant outfit, which you can have her put on from Byleth’s desk during downtime. When she is wearing this costume, she will have a different character portrait during conversations.

As for the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Dark Flier, War Cleric, and Valkyrie classes, we’ve seen one screenshot hinting at all of them. When the four new classes were announced on the official Twitter account, the tweet revealing them included two screenshots. One had Ferdinand in the Trickster class, with the War Monk job showing as another possibility. The other had Annette as the War Cleric. (The role is referred to as the Battle Sister, the Japanese name.) However, in Annette’s list, the Dark Flier and Valkyrie also both appear as options.
