Mercedes is a kind girl who is always watching over her surroundings and will never turn her back on someone in need. She was previously a noble of the Empire, but has been living in the kingdom as a commoner. She was also enrolled in the imperial capital’s Mage Academy. She’s a “little older” than her other classmates.

Here’s a video showing Mercedes meeting the protagonist:

“Before arriving to the Officer’s Academy, I attended an academy for mages in the imperial capital. Ann… er, it’s what I call Annette. Ann and I became friends over there. Ah, I believe Lorentz was also there? Ann was so kind to me even though I’m a little older, but she’s my precious friend.”
