First look at Time Crisis 4

Namco finally continues its paramount light gun series, Time Crisis with a forth game. Time Crisis 1 introduced the foot pedal to duck, TC2 brought in split screens and three introduced multiple weapons. So what exactly does Time Crisis 4 have new for gamers? You just can’t duck and shoot anymore. Gamers need to scan the screen left or right to search for targets. Think of it as an extension of the multiple angles that Time Crisis 3 introduced. Taking a cue from “Silent Scope” Time Crisis 4 adds in a little bit of sniping in between the frantic gun battles. Then to ramp up the action you can gain control of a huge helicopter machine gun. The game is going to premiere in Japan at the end of the month and a US release after that is likely.
