A teaser trailer for Mages of Mystralia, a fantasy adventure game written by Ed Greenwood, the creator of D&D fantasy world Forgotten Realms, has been released.
In Mages of Mystralia, players take on the role of Zia, a young wizard who has been exiled for her magical abilities. In her journey, she will find runes that can be put together to form unique spells. The developers tout that there will be “millions of different possibilities” for created spells. These spells will be used to fight monsters and solve puzzles.
Ed Greenwood, the game’s writer, has been writing fantasy novels since 1988, and was the creator of the Forgotten Realms, the Dungeons & Dragons setting in which Neverwinter Nights and Baldur’s Gate take place.
Mages of Mystralia is not set to release until into 2017.
