Adventure game Forgotton Anne will have players acting as an enforcer, keeping order in the magical land where all forgotten things end up.
A rebellion is stirring up in the Forgotton Realm, a place inhabited by creatures composed of all the lost and mislaid letters, toys, and single socks of the world. As the enforcer Anne, players will need to talk to the populace to find the source of the rebellion, finding different outcomes depending on the dialogue options they choose.
In her quest to stop the rebellion that will keep her and her master, Bonku, from returning to the human world, Anne will also use her Arca, which controls the energies of machines and creatures around her, giving or taking their powers away. Her actions with the device may also decide several fates for herself and the beings around her.
Forgotton Anne features a traditionally-animated visual style in an attempt to make the player feel like they are controlling an animated feature. All cutscenes occur live in-game, and will feature voice acting for all dialogue.
Forgotton Anne is set to release on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2017.
