Crytek USA, the division of Crytek that was formed from Darksiders developer Vigil Games, has announced its first title—Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age.

The game is a third-person multiplayer game for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and is set in the 1800s. It will enable four players to team up and “fend off an onslaught of bloodthirsty creatures and track down breathtaking bosses”.

Hunt is being designed so that players will never encounter exactly the same environment or same set of enemies twice. Crytek say the game will be published as part of their “Games-as-a-Service” range. It will enter closed beta on PC this year.
