Former President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, Jack Tretton, recently sat down with IGN to share his two cents on the PlayStation Vita and its struggles over the years.

Tretton says that despite the PlayStation Vita being a nice machine, he felt that it was too late, as the world has shifted to portable devices that aren’t dedicated gaming machines. On the other hand, the PSP was very successful, and he explains his thoughts on what made it different from the PS Vita at the time.
