Square Enix set September 14 as the date for Front Mission Evolved. Unlike other Front Mission games this is a third person shooter where you, as Dylan Ramsey, defend the U.C.S.’ orbital elevators inside a Wanzer. Players can customize their Wanzer, equip leg parts to move through different terrain plus select weapons for your mech’s hands and shoulders.

Front Mission Evolved will also be the first Front Mission game in stereoscopic 3D. However, 3D is only for the PC version and people who own a NVIDIA 3D Vision supported card. A long, long time ago Squaresoft was big on 3D. Remember Rad Racer and the headache inducing 3D World Runner games for the NES?
