It took about seven years, but Beeworks finally has a sequel to Touch Detective 2 1/2. Designed for the Nintendo 3DS, Touch Detective 3 Rising renders Mackenzie and Funghi in 3D. Part of the reason why Touch Detective is coming back is because of Funghi. He became a popular mascot character and Beeworks cashed in on that by creating plenty of Touch Detective merchandise.
Touch Detective Rising 3 comes out on May 1 in Japan. Perhaps, Atlus will pick up Touch Detective Rising 3 since they localized the other two games?
