In February 2020, retail store Gamers and developer SNK will team up to bring fans the “SNK Beautiful Girls Festival” to different Gamers stores across Japan. The festival will spotlight fan favorites and popular characters across SNK’s various franchises. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Visitors to Gamers can expect to see a lot of celebratory merchandise during this event, including acrylic stands, metal button badges, full-color wall hangings, and more. The main goods feature some of the most popular SNK girls, with Athena Asamiya, Kula Diamond, Li Xiangfei, Mina Majikina, and Nakoruru. However, shoppers can expect to see Doki Majo, Psycho Soldier, and older The King of Fighters characters represented too.
Additionally, shoppers who spend over ¥10,000 on SNK merchandise during this campaign can receive a limited-edition tote bag made specifically for this event. The tote features Samurai Shodown’s Nakoruru & Mina and KOF’sAthena, Kula, and Li Xiangfei in tropical-themed swimsuits and vacation wear.
The “SNK Beautiful Girls Festival” will be featured at five different locations across Japan. Here’s a list of the locations and their dates:
- 2.22 – 3.8: Akihabara Gamers – Main Store (Tokyo)
- 3.20 – 4.12: Nagoya Gamers (Nagoya, Nagoya)
- 4.25 – 5.17: Nanba Gamers (Osaka, Osaka)
- 5.30 – 6.21: Hakata Gamers (Fukuoka, Fukuoka)
- 7.11 – 7.26: Sendai Gamers (Sendai, Miyagi)

Gamer’s “SNK Beautiful Girls Festival” will begin on February 22, 2020 in Akihabara, located in Central Tokyo. Gamers’ hours are usually 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in most major cities.
